(Humanity Healing) The state of mind and the immune system’s effectiveness are directly related. It is proven by science that a negative mental state has the power to weaken the T-lymphocytes in the immune system and cause suffering.
The state of mind and the immune system
This is what happens when a person is depressed, angry, disillusioned, feeling like a failed person, overwhelmed, etc. These emotions diminish the immune system and, inevitably, inhibits its activity, and the individual suffers. The lower we allow our feelings to vibrate, the weaker we become.
“The kingdom of heaven in not a place but a state of mind.”
~ John Burroughs
When someone feels anger, for example, that feeling’s stimulus reaches the brain and leads it to produce the wrong hormone. In this example, the adrenaline weakens the white blood cells, which, under the command of T-lymphocytes, are responsible for the body’s self-defense. If this army is decimated, then diseases can progress and proliferate.
If you are sick, your immune system is weakened. Otherwise, the immune system would have prevented the dis-ease: disease. This means that you urgently need to strengthen the T-lymphocytes, but if you surrender to discouragement, stress, the negativity, and not strengthen the army of defense; it will weaken it even further.
How to strengthen your life
You strengthen your life when you reframe your State of mind potential through joy, faith, willpower, by the expectation of healing, by courage, by prayer, and by visualizing health. The use of imagination is a powerful resource to bring Inner strength, the creative world, lasting positive mental states and health. It is not a matter of ignoring any physical disorder, but instead, consciously adopting a positive outlook and choosing to live in an internal healing place where only high vibrational emotions will prevail.
But if, instead, you chose to withdraw into yourself, disillusioned, disappointed with the disease, skeptical of any method of healing, revolted against yourself, against God or the world; any effort towards a beneficial vibrational healing will be locked in a dark room, because it hinders or removes all conditions that are necessary for the mind and the body to fight for their healing.
“If your mind is expansive and unfettered, you will find yourself in a more accommodating world, a place that’s endlessly interesting and alive. That quality isn’t inherent in the place but your state of mind.”
~ Pema Chödrön, Living Beautifully: with Uncertainty and Change
There are many accounts of people battling and overcoming cancer and even AIDS until the day they fall into dismay. At that point, the downfall is swift. John Diamond, M.D wrote in 1979 that “the hateful and destructive thoughts can drain our life energy (from the thymus) and creative feelings and loving beliefs may increase it.”
There is a huge number of people who have had their health compromised by emotional shock caused by the non-fulfillment of a dream eagerly awaited, or by grief at the death of a relative, or by approaching exams or interviews. A smaller, but equally high, the number of individuals die because of these poorly managed emotions: they may be paralyzed by stomach problems, intestinal, cardiac, dermatological and other organic disorders that are poorly explained by any other reason.
The state of mind will modify your being
Just as one lonely stone does not destroy or build a house, there are moments when scattered and random thoughts or negative feelings or positive will produce a mental reality in your life and therefore causing an organic response to the referred stimuli.
There will be, therefore, not only one emotion but an emotional state that will produce a beneficent reality or Maleficent reality in your mind and body. It is not just thought that will modify your being, but a state of mind. The continuous practice of meditation, contemplation and prayers can and will change your life, but any mental reality has to be accepted, assimilated and experienced.
A lymphocyte is a kind of white blood cell in the vertebrate immune system, specifically, a landmark of the adaptive immune system. The T-lymphocyte is a type of lymphocyte that matures in the thymus gland and has an important role in the immune response.
