Wanted: warriors of love and compassion
(OMTimes | Darity Wesley) As a warrior of love and compassion, we bring great healing to ourselves and the planet. Be gentle. Be tolerant. Be patient. Be loving. Be who you truly are.
Be a warrior of love
Everything in our world is going through an upheaval, with dramatic shifting and changing. Our political and social systems, our schools and religions, our families and communities, the environment, and even our own personal and professional lives – a compassionate state of being is needed on every front. We are all required to step up to the plate as warriors of love and compassion, to help the planet through this tumultuous time of epic evolutionary change!
What is a warrior of love and compassion?
It’s all about loving fearlessly and courageously, without concern about whether or not we’re loved in return. In times like these, we all benefit from having a compassionate state of being our automatic experience. Love and compassion are powerful tools that can bring balance and well-being to the planet.
Generally, people think compassion is about being patient, tolerant, or understanding others’ plight. While compassion certainly encompasses those perspectives, compassion is also about bringing life to that love. We all carry the love in our highest heart and then spread it out to the world as we walk our path. When we accept the frailties and shortcomings of others, we provide a sense of love and positive flow that supports all of humanity with our compassion. It contains the powerful healing energy of unconditional love.
Being a warrior of love and compassion also means that we allow ourselves to be vulnerable with how we feel … truly and deeply loving, allowing it to be so. Loving all humanity, the animals, the Earth, loving the rocks, the trees, the sky, and the dirt. Yes, even the dirt … truly loving it all!
Compassion with a open heart
Duality-based systems continue to divide human minds, bodies, and spirits, like some kind of the last gasp to hold on to the illusion of right-wrong, good-bad, black-white, ego polarizations. Compassion for our highest heart is part of stepping forward into our evolutionary purpose. It is stepping forward into the beautiful consciousness of Oneness.
The energy of love and compassion also allows us to go deeper within ourselves. And when we do that, we find real nourishment in our prayers, our meditations, our journaling, our reading, and from the whispers of our own inner voice. It’s about stepping through our fears and continuing on our soul’s journey with open and compassionate hearts.
Being a warrior of love and compassion is also about supporting other people, being there for what’s needed or wanted. As Buddha said, “Have compassion for all beings, rich and poor alike; each has their suffering.” As part of the human experience, we all experience suffering. So, we must be gentle and kind with one another, that we are conscious of each other’s feelings. That’s being compassionate.
Compassion is not a sentiment. It’s not an emotion or a feeling. Compassion is a state of being created by the ultimate energetic embodiment of our highest and most genuine love. It understands that everyone is on their own soul journey, driving their own bus through life. We accept and bless them on their journey. We acknowledge the sovereignty of each and every being and understand that everyone is here to make their own choices in life. It is a great gift to humanity.
As a warrior of love and compassion, we bring great healing to ourselves and the planet. Be gentle. Be tolerant. Be patient. Be loving. Be who you truly are.
